It's that time of year again! Please join us for our annual food drive to benefit Long Island Cares. Founded in 1980 by the late Harry Chapin in response to the needs of hungry Long Islanders, Long Island Cares provides food to over 600 community based agencies in Nassau and Suffolk Counties; food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, day care centers and homeless shelters. We will be collecting donations throughout the months of October and November. Please consider a donation of non-perishable food (please, no glass containers) when you visit us this month. And, don't forget, Long Island Cares also accepts donations of pet food and baby items, such as diapers.
